In March of 2003, I obtained my broker license. Having actually built our 2400 sq ft log home in the late 80's, I understand housing construction and have an "eye" for concerns as clients view homes of interest. I believe a buyer should walk into a property and be excited about the possibility of living there, no matter how many houses it takes to achieve this feeling.
Whether selling or buying, I will guide you through the many contract forms, provide you with time charts to help you know what and when to expect items of concern, if you need a loan, I will refer you to a superb loan officer to help you obtain financing, work with your attorney or suggest one for your convenience, suggest people to help with house repairs, attend your home inspection (if you desire) and help you understand the inspection summary report. I can suggest ideas in the presentation of your home so buyers will have the best experience as they enter what could be their future home. In looking to sell, I will review recent comparable sales and give you an approximation of the value of the property. It's FREE!
My experience has shown me Dual Agency, where an agent represents a seller and a buyer, is not in the best interest of either. When I list a house, I will not ask the seller to allow me to work in this manner.
My younger clients have viewed me more as a "dad" than a realtor. I will work for you to find a home as if you were part of my own family.
